Job Description:

As we expand into Singapore and the EU (France), we’re scaling up our Client Onboarding Team to ensure new clients enjoy a smooth, efficient, and personalised onboarding experience. You’ll play a critical role in welcoming clients, building trust from the first interaction, and helping them set up for success with Statrys.

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will support entrepreneurs and SMEs as they begin their journey with Statrys—ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while safeguarding regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding & Support: Guide new clients through the onboarding process—from initial contact to account activation—via email and platform touchpoints. Provide clear, friendly, and timely assistance in both Mandarin and English, ensuring clients feel supported and confident at every step.
  • Client Risk Profiling: Understand each client’s business model and ownership structure. Assess potential risk indicators and flag anything unusual or unclear to the compliance team, while keeping a customer-centric approach.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with Compliance, Payments, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and smooth handovers throughout the onboarding journey. Share feedback and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Document Review & Records: Verify key documents such as IDs, company registrations, financial statements, and business proofs for accuracy and completeness. Ensure client records are kept current, organised, and audit-ready.
  • Ongoing Maintenance & Profile Updates: Assist with periodic reviews and KYC refresh cycles by collecting updated documents, validating client information, and updating internal systems as needed.

Requirements:

  • Full working rights in Hong Kong
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English (spoken and written)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services (fintech, MSOs, banks, brokers, startups) is a plus
  • Prior exposure to KYC, AML, or client onboarding processes is an advantage
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, client-focused mindset
