Job Description:

Our engineering teams have great expertise in building next-generation products with Agile methodology. Most techies come from a background that advocates TDD, BDD, and other extreme programming practices in delivering cloud-native applications. They have been building, testing, and releasing new features to end-users every day. (Even a tiny feature goes live for testing user interaction and the possibility of improving it based on real user feedback).

In the engineering role with us, you will have a free hand in exploring cross-cutting technologies that help us build next-generation products to help SMEs. You will be engaged in doing technical spikes, brainstorming ideas with solution architects, designing and implementing solutions, and getting them live.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will have a free hand in technical solution designs for cloud-native applications
• We work with different partner banks. You will be building API integrations with many traditional and open banking platforms by keeping security and system stability as key aspects.
• Keeping code quality as the topmost agenda of our engineering teams. You will perform regular design and code peer reviews to ensure the product's optimum code quality.
• You will keep an eye on existing features and their stabilities. You will help with business operations on the technical front.

Requirements:

You have excellence in software engineering practices, such as TDD, clean and modular code, and have worked in an Agile environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Java and other JVM-based languages
• Solid knowledge of Spring boot and ORM frameworks
• Micro-services design, implementation and rollouts experience
• Good hands-on with the automated test in layered architecture (Unit, API contract, Behaviour).
• Decent English communication.

Desirable Skills / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Having knowledge of AWS services such as Codebuild, Codepipeline, MSK, EKS, ECR
• Having knowledge of tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch
