In which language should the company name be registered?

A company name in Hong Kong can be registered in Chinese, English, or both. Before registering the company our Company Secretary department can review the availability of the name chosen with the authority.

Other important rules to follow when deciding the company name are the following:

• The company name cannot have a combination of English and Chinese characters in the name.
• The company name must end with the word Limited or the abbreviation Ltd.
