Sleek advertises Hong Kong company registration for foreigners from HKD 6,973. We went through the entire onboarding ourselves — from the homepage to the payment screen — on their Standard plan. What we found is that the price you see upfront is not the price you end up paying.
This article walks you through every cost that gets added along the way, so you know what to expect before you commit.

How we conduct this research
We went through Sleek's Hong Kong company registration process from start to finish — homepage to payment confirmation — and recorded the entire session. All fee figures, screenshots, and onboarding observations in this article come from that live session conducted in April 2026. We also took the Standard Plan, so the post-incorporation observations are based on direct personal experience. We contacted Sleek's support team with follow-up questions; their responses, where received, are cited in the relevant sections. Prices may have changed since publication.
What Sleek Advertises on Their Website
If you've been researching how to register a company in Hong Kong, you've almost certainly come across Sleek.
They're well-marketed, their website is clean, and their headline prices look competitive.
Prices for Hong Kong company formation vary significantly between providers — which makes it worth understanding exactly what you're being quoted before you commit.
We went through the entire Sleek HK onboarding process ourselves — from landing on their homepage to making the final payment — and recorded the whole thing. These are the exact screens we saw, the exact prices that appeared, and the exact moments where the cost shifted above what was advertised.
When you land on Sleek's website and navigate to their Hong Kong company registration page, you're presented with three plans. The entry-level tier for foreigners — the Starter Plan — is advertised from HKD 6,973.
That "from" is doing a lot of work. Because by the time you've gone through the onboarding, the actual minimum you'll pay is very likely higher.
What’s included in the Starter Plan (ON THE WEBSITE)
- Company incorporation
- Company secretary
- Designated representative
- Registered address
- Connect with partners like Airwallex and Aspire to open a business account
- Government fees
- No accounting. No audit.
Why we're focusing on the Starter Plan
Sleek offers three plans for company incorporation in Hong Kong. We're analysing the Starter Plan specifically because it's the entry-level package — the one most closely comparable to a standard incorporation bundle in scope and price. The higher Sleek tiers include accounting and audit services that are outside the scope of a basic incorporation comparison.
First Learning: The HKD 79 Service Fee
The first thing we noticed during onboarding — and the first cost that doesn't appear on the pricing page — is a HKD 79 Sleek Service Fee. It appears once you're inside the registration flow. It isn't mentioned anywhere on the pricing page before you start.

HKD 79 is not a large amount. But it raises a straightforward question: what is this fee for? It has no description in the onboarding.
PENDING RESPONSE
We asked Sleek support to clarify what the HKD 79 service fee covers. We will update this section when we receive a response.
Second Learning: The Two-Tiered System
Early in the onboarding with the Starter Plan, you're asked to select between the Standard and the Premium options. This is the first moment where the advertised price may materially diverge from what you'll pay — and it introduces a structural choice with significant long-term implications.
This distinction between the Standard and Premium options is not mentioned anywhere on the main pricing page. You only encounter it once you're inside the onboarding flow.

The prices shown during the onboarding (with a promotional discount applied) are:
| Plan | Promotional (discounted) | Standard rate |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | HKD 999/yr | HKD 1,300/yr |
| Premium | HKD 3,499/yr | HKD 3,800/yr |
What Is Included in Each Option?
Standard option: Covers routine annual secretarial maintenance — annual return filings, maintenance of statutory records, and keeping your company in good standing with the Companies Registry. Designed for companies with a stable shareholder structure that do not anticipate changes to their directors or share allocation.
Premium option: Includes everything in Standard, plus the ability to make corporate changes within the year — such as changes of director, allotment of new shares, and share transfers. For any company that expects to evolve its structure, this is the plan that enables it.
What Happens if You Choose the Standard Option and Need to Make a Change Later On
We took the Standard option ourselves, for a single-shareholder company. After incorporating, we contacted Sleek's support team to understand what would be involved in adding a shareholder. Here is what they confirmed:
ADDING A SHAREHOLDER ON THE STANDARD PLAN — CONFIRMED BY SLEEK SUPPORT
Sleek quoted a one-off ad hoc fee of HKD 2,500 for this process, plus a prorated upgrade to the Company Secretary annual fee (HKD 500 in our case) — a total of HKD 3,000 to add one shareholder. The process takes 5–7 working days.
This cost is not mentioned during onboarding, nor on the pricing page. The Standard option is presented as suitable for companies with a "stable structure" — without disclosing what it costs to change that structure later.
At Statrys, you have full flexibility to make a corporate change for a fee ranging from HKD 1,000 to HKD 3,000, depending on what exactly you want to change. For example, adding a shareholder would cost you HKD 1,500.
Third Learning: Your Number of Shareholders
The fee charged for the Starter Plan does not just depend on the option you choose, Standard vs. Premium. It also scales with the number of shareholders in your company. Again, this is not explained on the pricing page — it's disclosed progressively during the onboarding.
Here are the actual costs, based on shareholder count (non-discounted rates):
| Shareholders | Standard Rate (non-discounted) | VS. Baseline (1 shareholder) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 shareholder | HKD 1,300/yr | Baseline |
| 2 shareholders | HKD 1,900/yr | +HKD 600 |
| 3–5 shareholders | HKD 2,300/yr | +HKD 1,000 |
| 6–9 shareholders | HKD 2,900/yr | +HKD 1,600 |
| 10–20 shareholders | HKD 4,000/yr | +HKD 2,700 |
| 21–30 shareholders | HKD 5,300/yr | +HKD 4,000 |
| 30+ shareholders | HKD 6,500/yr | +HKD 5,200 |
Based on our experience, 63% of companies incorporated in Hong Kong have at least two shareholders from the start. That alone adds HKD600 to the advertised price for the Starter Plan.
At Statrys, an additional fee of HKD 1,000 is charged only if your company has 5 or more shareholders. That’s the case for less than 3% of the companies we incorporate.
Calculate Your Actual Cost
The interactive cost calculator below will allows you to select your shareholder count and instantly see the real Sleek Starter minimum cost.

| 1 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 1,300 | HKD 7,274 |
| 2 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 1,900 | HKD 7,874 |
| 3–5 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 2,300 | HKD 8,274 |
| 6–9 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 2,900 | HKD 8,874 |
| 10–20 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 4,000 | HKD 9,974 |
| 21–30 | HKD 5,974 | HKD 5,300 | HKD 11,274 |
| 30+ | HKD 5,974 | HKD 6,500 | HKD 12,474 |
📌Note: Minimum fixed fees = Certificate of Incorporation (1,545) + Annual Business Registration (2,350) + Registered Address (2,000) + Sleek Service Fee (79) = 5,974
What to Ask Before You Choose an Incorporation Service
Based on this experience, here are the questions worth asking any incorporation provider before you start the process:
- Is the advertised price for a company with one shareholder?
Most "from" prices assume a single shareholder. If you have co-founders or investors, you may be in a different bracket immediately. - Are there tiers within the Company Secretary service?
Company secretary services can come in multiple tiers, not disclosed upfront. Ask which tier is included in the base price and what each tier does and doesn't include. - Can you modify your share structure after incorporation — and at what cost?
The answer significantly affects your real cost of flexibility over the life of the company. With Sleek's Standard plan, adding a shareholder costs approximately HKD3,000 and takes 5–7 working days. - Does the package include a business account?
Very few incorporation packages include a business account. For a new company in Hong Kong, opening one is one of the most time-consuming steps after incorporation.
Statrys vs. Sleek
At first glance, the Sleek Starter Plan advertised at HKD 6,973 looks cheaper than the HKD 8,600 fee charged by Statrys. But as the sections above show, those two numbers don't represent the same thing. Here's a direct feature comparison:

Other Considerations
Sleek's onboarding is thorough. The process collects all required information in one go — company structure, director details, shareholder information, and address preferences. You don't need to go back and supply additional information later. It is genuinely comprehensive.
It takes time. Because the onboarding is so thorough, it also takes around 45 minutes to complete. The volume of options and information required is significant. That is a trade-off worth knowing about before you start.
Statrys is the only licensed provider in Hong Kong that includes both company creation and a business account within the same platform. Once your company is set up, the business account application is accessible directly, without needing separate onboarding with another provider. Account opening is subject to approval, but the process stays within the same platform.
The Bottom Line
The key question when choosing between Sleek and Statrys is how much flexibility your company will need after incorporation. On Sleek's Standard option — the plan included in the minimum advertised price — adding a shareholder or modifying your share structure is an 8-step ad hoc process with a minimum cost of HKD 3,000 and a 5–7 working day timeline.
Avoiding that requires upgrading to Sleek's Premium plan at HKD 3,800/yr. Statrys charges a flat fee regardless of shareholder count, and structural changes are included as part of the standard service. Statrys also includes a business account with no separate onboarding — Sleek's Starter plan does not.
