Key Takeaways
Sleek bundles accounting and a year-1 audit into its higher incorporation tiers. Osome never bundles accounting into incorporation, at any tier; it's a separate product either way.
Sleek's cheapest plan does your books once a year; Osome's cheapest plan includes unlimited ongoing bookkeeping and in-app chat support from day one, at a similar price.
A director or shareholder change costs HKD 2,500 per event on Sleek's cheapest secretary tier and HKD 660 per person on Osome's (HKD 880 per person for a share allotment or transfer). Neither cheap tier is built for a company that expects to change.
Neither runs its own business account. Both refer you to a separate company, and that company's approval decision, not Sleek's or Osome's, is what actually opens it.
I'm not neutral here, and I won't pretend to be. We compete with Sleek and Osome for the same Hong Kong incorporation customer. What I can offer instead of neutrality is proximity: we watch both of them closely, and the differences that actually matter, how they structure their pricing and what they charge you for later, aren't the ones either of their own comparison pages leads with.
Every figure below comes from a live check of both companies' pricing pages, most recently 22 September 2026. For the latest details and promotions, visit each provider's website directly.
Incorporation Compared
| Provider | Tier | Price | Accounting/Audit Included? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sleek | Starter | HKD 4,973 | No. Registered address is a HKD 2,000/year add-on |
| Sleek | Compliance | HKD 10,473 | Yes, bookkeeping, financial statements, and a year-1 audit |
| Sleek | Full Compliance | HKD 13,973 | Yes, same as Compliance plus fuller bookkeeping service |
| Osome | Essential | HKD 4,650 (promo) | No. Assumes you already have a HK address |
| Osome | Comprehensive | HKD 8,950 (promo) | No, but includes a registered address |
| Osome | Ecommerce Comprehensive | HKD 11,538 (promo) | No, but includes a registered address and ecommerce setup |
The practical decision here is whether you want accounting bundled into your incorporation purchase or not. Sleek's Compliance tier (HKD 10,473) buys incorporation, bookkeeping, and a year-1 audit in one purchase. Osome never bundles accounting into incorporation, at any tier, so you're always making two separate purchases whenever you're ready for the second one.
Neither is objectively better: bundling suits a founder who wants one decision made once, while unbundling suits a founder who wants to control exactly when the second cost starts.
Accounting Compared
Incorporation is a one-time purchase. Accounting is the one you'll be paying every year after, and it's where the two providers actually diverge most. Here's what each standalone accounting plan includes, not just whether it's bundled into incorporation.
| Provider | Plan | Price | Key Inclusion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sleek | Basic | From HKD 3,500/fy | Annual bookkeeping and financial statements, Employer's Return filing, 5-business-day support |
| Sleek | Standard | From HKD 5,880/fy | Monthly bookkeeping and financial statements, monthly payroll, basic tax advice, 48-hour support |
| Sleek | Premium | From HKD 15,120/fy | Quarterly review with a senior accountant, Xero subscription, 24-hour support |
| Osome | Operate | HKD 3,500/fy (HKD 292/mo) | Unlimited bookkeeping and transactions from day one, in-app chat support |
| Osome | Grow | HKD 4,200/fy (HKD 350/mo) | Adds invoicing, multi-currency support, one quarterly 1-hour advisory call |
| Osome | Scale | HKD 10,188/fy (HKD 849/mo) | Adds full audit: preparation, filing, and profits tax computation. Unlimited advisory calls |
These are two different pricing logics. Sleek's plans scale with your monthly expenses: you pick a band from under HKD 15,000 to over HKD 400,000, and the prices above are the entry band. Osome's plans scale with annual revenue instead, and it adjusts your bill automatically if your actual revenue lands outside the plan you picked.
The bigger practical difference is what the cheapest tier gets you. Sleek's Basic plan is annual only: your books get done once a year, with a 5-business-day response time. Osome's cheapest plan, Operate, already includes unlimited ongoing bookkeeping and in-app chat support from day one, at close to the same price. If you want to see your numbers more than once a year without upgrading, Osome's entry tier does more for a similar cost.
Audit is structured differently, too. Sleek ties audit to your incorporation tier: pick Compliance or above, and a year-1 audit is included, then billed separately from year 2. Osome ties audit to your accounting plan instead: only Scale (HKD 10,188/fy) bundles it, regardless of which incorporation tier you started on.
Statrys prices accounting by transaction volume rather than by expense band or revenue band, a third basis worth knowing about if neither of these fits how your business runs.
What Happens When Your Company Changes
| Provider | Tier | Base Price | Cost of a Director/Shareholder Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sleek | Standard, 1 Shareholder | HKD 1,300/year | HKD 2,500 per event |
| Sleek | Standard, 2 Shareholders | HKD 1,900/year | HKD 2,500 per event |
| Sleek | Standard, 3 to 5 Shareholders | HKD 2,300 to 2,900/year | HKD 2,500 per event |
| Sleek | Premium (Any Shareholder Count Shown) | HKD 3,800 to 9,000/year | None, no per-event fee |
| Osome | Essential (Standalone or Bundled) | HKD 1,400-2,300/year | HKD 660 per person for a director/shareholder change HKD 880 per person for a share allotment or transfer |
| Osome | Unlimited | HKD 3,600/year | None, no per-event fee |
Both marketing pages lead with their cheapest secretary price. Neither mentions upfront that the cheap tier assumes nothing about your company's changes all year. Add a co-founder, an investor, or a single director swap, and Sleek's Standard tier and Osome's Essential tier both start charging per event.
If you expect any structural change in year one, the real comparison is Sleek's Premium against Osome's Unlimited, not either provider's headline number.
The Account Neither of Them Actually Runs
Here's what neither comparison page volunteers: neither Sleek nor Osome holds a banking or payments licence. Both refer you to a separate company for your business account, and that company's approval decision, not Sleek's or Osome's, is what actually opens it.
| Feature | Sleek | Osome |
|---|---|---|
| Partners | Airwallex or Aspire | PayPal, DBS, Transwap, Airwallex, Aspire, or WorldFirst |
| Login | Separate from your Sleek dashboard | Separate from your Osome dashboard |
| Currencies | 20+ (local account currencies) / send-receive in 40+ via Airwallex; hold 13 currencies Send-receive in 40+ via Aspire |
Depends on the partner Aspire, the one Osome most actively promotes, holds 3 currencies: HKD, USD, CNY |
Osome's wider partner list means more banks to be introduced to, but it's still an introduction, a second application, a second KYC check, and a second login. Sleek's narrower list can mean wider currency support if you're approved, but the approval and the account both belong to the partner either way.
We're the exception: Statrys holds its own Money Service Operator licence and runs the account itself, rather than referring you to a partner.
You've now seen how all three actually price things. Want to know which one your specific situation points to? Take the quiz below and find out.
Registration and Support, the Short Version
On these two, Sleek and Osome barely differ, and neither should decide this for you. Both let you apply remotely in about 5 minutes. Sleek quotes 3 to 5 business days for approval; Osome quotes 3 to 4 business days once documents are ready, or 5 to 7 for fully remote, non-present applicants.
Both offer phone, email, and WhatsApp support during Hong Kong business hours; Osome adds a chatbot, Sleek doesn't.
User Reviews and Ratings
Sleek leads Osome by a wide margin on Trustpilot, in both score and review volume. Statrys is our own score, worth verifying yourself rather than taking our word for it.
Common praise for Sleek centres on account-manager responsiveness and first-year value; for Osome, on the convenience of one platform for incorporation, accounting, and compliance. Common complaints for both mention service-quality dips after the sales phase and delays near statutory filing deadlines.
Why I'm Telling You This
I'll say it again because it matters more here than in most comparisons: I run a company that competes with both of the ones you just read about. I don't get to be neutral, and I'm not going to write as if I am.
What I'd actually tell a founder in your position: if you already know you'll need accounting and audit this year, and you're comfortable paying more upfront for that certainty, Sleek's bundled tiers do the job. If you'd rather buy accounting separately, on your own timeline, and you want ongoing bookkeeping from day one rather than an annual-only entry tier, Osome's Operate plan does that.
And if what you actually want is one price, no bundling decision, no per-event fees for growing your team, and an account we run ourselves instead of referring you elsewhere, that's the case for Statrys, and it's the reason I wrote this comparison in the first place.

FAQs
Is this comparison neutral? Why is a competitor writing about Sleek and Osome?
It isn't neutral, and I've said so directly above rather than burying it in a disclosure line. Statrys competes with both Sleek and Osome for the same Hong Kong incorporation customer. What this comparison can offer instead of neutrality is a close, current look at how each actually prices things, since we watch both of them directly.
How much does it cost to incorporate a company with Sleek?
Sleek's local-resident tiers run from HKD 4,973 (Starter) to HKD 13,973 (Full Compliance), with a registered address available as a mandatory HKD 2,000/year add-on on Starter. Foreign founders pay a separate, higher rate that includes the address.
How much does it cost to incorporate a company with Osome?
Osome charges the same price whether you're a local resident or a foreign founder. Its tiers run from HKD 4,650 (Essential, promo) to HKD 11,538 (Ecommerce Comprehensive, promo). Essential assumes you already have a Hong Kong address; Comprehensive and Ecommerce Comprehensive both include one.
What is the alternative to Sleek and Osome?
Statrys combines company registration, company secretary, accounting, tax filing, and an in-house multi-currency business account on one platform. Because transactions and invoices sit in the same system as your accounting records, tax filing typically needs less back-and-forth than coordinating separate providers.
Does Sleek or Osome bundle accounting into incorporation?
Sleek does, but only on its Compliance and Full Compliance tiers, not Starter. Osome never does, at any tier; incorporation and accounting are always two separate purchases with Osome.
Does either provider help with opening a business bank account?
Both only introduce you to third-party banking partners. Neither issues its own account. Osome works with a wider partner list; Sleek introduces clients to Airwallex or Aspire. Account approval is subject to each partner's own review in both cases.
