Why did my money arrive in a different currency than what was sent?
If your money arrived in a different currency than what was originally sent, it is likely due to the conversion process performed by the sender or an intermediary bank involved in the transaction.
When the payment was transferred from the sender's country, the sender or the intermediary bank may not have been aware that Statrys can receive the specific currency you intended to send, resulting in the funds being processed in HKD (Hong Kong Dollar) instead.
To avoid similar situations in the future, we recommend advising your business partners to inform their banks not to convert the currencies during the transaction. By doing so, the original currency will be maintained throughout the process.
