Bertrand has 20 years of experience across Asia as a corporate lawyer, investor, and entrepreneur. Over that time, he’s seen firsthand how challenging it can be for small and medium-sized businesses to access reliable financial services, especially when operating across borders.

His legal background shaped a rigorous approach to risk, regulation, and business infrastructure. As he gained experience, Bertrand became increasingly focused on how technology could remove the friction he repeatedly encountered in traditional financial systems. That conviction led him to launch Statrys in 2018.

At Statrys, Bertrand leads the development of multi-currency business accounts, foreign exchange solutions, and payment services built for SMEs. Today, Statryssupports more than 5,000 businesses, helping them simplify international payments, manage multiple currencies, and run their operations more efficiently.
